Charlestown Regatta Week

Charlestown Regatta Week is an annual summer celebration, dating back over 50 years, bringing together the local community, and visitors alike to raise funds for the village, community projects and local charities.

Organised by a team of volunteers, Regatta Week offers an exciting family-friendly programme of activities and entertainment, including live music, competitions, pasty demonstrations, craft stalls, raft races, a fun triathlon, Children’s sports, the Grand Carnival and Flora dance procession, Regatta Rocks and much more!

Thanks to generous support from loyal sponsors and partners, alongside the goodwill of the village community, Charlestown Regatta Week continues to support brilliant local projects and charities.

This includes the maintenance, and original purchase, of the children’s equipment in the Regatta playing field, supporting the village’s annual Christmas lights, and hosting a traditional Christmas lunch for Charlestown’s ‘over-sixties’ residents.

Over the last 5 years, Charlestown Regatta Week has also donated over £30,000 to worthy local charities and good causes such as Children’s Hospice Southwest, the National Coastguard Institution, the RNLI, the Cornish Barbarians.

If you’re able to join us, we look forward to giving you a warm welcome to Charlestown Regatta Week - and thank you for your interest and support.

We work hard during Regatta Week and would welcome some extra help.

It's not all hard graft though, we also have a lot of fun!
